Day 1: Arrival and Transfer to the hotel

Arrival in Kigali international airport, welcome by our company staff/ Hotel staff – Covid Test – check-in at hotel – overnight at mille coline

Day 2: Kigali city tour And Transfer to Volcanoes National Park

In the morning after breakfast, you will visit Genocide Sites to learn more about genocide against tutsi of 1994, from there drive to Volcanoes National Park, you will visit Diana fossey gorilla fund and then check in the lodge for overnight and dinner at Five Volcanoes boutique hotel

Day 3: Gorilla Trekking and Cultural Experience

Wakeup to an early morning breakfast and report to the park headquarters for briefing and allocation of Gorilla trekking groups. Later, you will head into the cold and misty forested slopes of Virunga national park for your Gorilla trek. The trek can be anywhere between 2 to 6 hours depending on the movement of the Gorillas and upon finding them, you will be allowed 1 hour to see and take photos after which you exit the forest. Meet your driver / guide and transfer back to the lodge. If you feel strong, you will have cultural experience at ibyiwacu cultural village and have overview of Rwanda history and get an idea of some of more traditional rituals. and then drive to your lodge for overnight and dinner at five volcanoes boutique hotel.

Day 4: Gorilla Trekking in Volcanoes National Park

After an early morning breakfast, transfer to the park headquarters together with your packed snacks. enter the forest in search of the gorillas, which may take 2- 6 hours depending on the movement of the gorillas in the jungle. Meet and stay with the gorillas for a maximum of 1-hour this is similar to yesterday’s experience drive back to the hotel have lunch and relax take time to edit your pictures and saving the memory spend Overnight at your lodge.

Day 5: Golden Monkey Trekking and Drive Back To Kigali

Breakfast will be served early and drive back to the park headquarters for briefing and Golden Monkey trekking for briefing, later drive to the starting point of your Hikes to see the smaller and nimbler monkeys are a fun and adventurous way to explore the forest these fast-moving monkeys will certainly keep you on your toes. The procedure is the same as Gorilla trekking but lasts only 3 to 5 hours and return to the lodge to freshen up have lunch and drive back to Kigali for resting and relaxing to catch the flight, End of tour.
