There are a plethora of lovely, idyllic cities in Italy that stir up romantic holiday fantasies. The same may be said for the ever-popular Tuscany region. Powerhouse locations like Florence, Siena, and Pisa, which are all extremely popular with European tourists, can be found here. While I appreciated my visits to all three, I would not choose any of them as my favorite Italian city. That honor, I believe, belongs to their little neighbor, the ever-lovely Lucca.
We will see unique sights in this little jewel of Tuscany that have piqued the interest of many tourists, philosophers, nobles, and average folks over the years. We’ll leave Piazzale Verdi and shortly arrive at the San Paolino Church, wherein Puccini made his earliest footsteps as a young fellow. The second place takes us to Piazza Cittadella, where the musician welcomes us to share some personal experiences. The Church of San Michele is a short distance away, with its strange ornamental heads adorning its exterior. We’ll go via Piazza Napoleone, where we’ll discover about Lucca’s victory, and then through Via Fillungo, which will lead us straight to the Clock Tower, where we’ll hear the extraordinary story of Lucida Mansi, Lucca’s dark lady, who used her attractiveness as a tool to achieve eternal life.
The Original Lucca Free Walking Tour takes you the town’s most prominent and expressive locations, such as the Piazzale Verdi and shortly start arriving at the San Paolino Church, from which Puccini took his first steps as a young person, and idyllic views from Piazza Cittadella, where artists welcomes us to share some of their personal anecdotes, but it also contains the Church of San Michele, which is a short distance, with its peculiar decorative heads gracing its façade. We’ll discuss Lucca’s heritage, customs, and practices, as well as the town’s numerous oddities. Lucca is enchanting and sophisticated, and we’d proudly show you about.

Helpful Review 7We waited for half an hour, but nobody came. We tried calling Be Original Tours, but no answer and we have heard nothing back from them since.
Really bad experience! Will never use them again.
