Explore the Beautiful Sights of Prague in 3 Days
Prague, the capital of the Czech Republic is a beautiful place filled with history, architecture and culture at its best. If you are looking forward to visiting Prague but have a short span of time to spare, here are some of the must-see sights that you should include in your 3-day itinerary.
Day 1: Old Town and Charles Bridge
Start your excursion in the quaint Old Town, a UNESCO World Heritage area. Beginning at the Old Town Square, find the famous Astronomical Clock. Watch the clock’s hourly demonstrations and appreciate its beautiful craftsmanship.
Wander along the narrow cobbled alleyways and take in the laid-back ambiance of the town. Visit to the Týn Church, a Gothic icon of the Old Town Square. Don’t miss the Estates Theatre where Mozart first performed his opera “Don Giovanni.”

Day 3: Prague’s Jewish Quarter and Letná Park
On your last day in Prague visit the lively Jewish quarter (Josefov). See the historic Jewish Cemetery, the Old-New Synagogue and Jewish Museum. Discover the stormy history of the Jewish population of Prague.
Then, take a relaxing walk along the banks of Vltava River and cross the well-known Dancing House, a unique example of modern architecture. Proceed to Letná Park, a tranquil haven that also affords great views of the city.
Spend some time relaxing in the park, go from the Hanavský Pavilion, enjoy a refreshment. Letná Park is also the place to see one of the city’s landmarks – Metronome, 25 metri tall giant turning sculpture once a 1971 giant of Joseph Stalin.
Tip: Bring a picnic and take it and enjoy it in the Letná Park with a marvelous view of Prague.
