Famous landmarks, wonderful food and included history, anyone is sure to have the vacation of a lifetime while in Paris. Day 1

Eiffel Tower

Eiffel Tower is one of the greatest sights to be seen in Paris and no traveler to the beautiful city would wish to leave the place without viewing this marvel. This huge building provides panoramic views of the city, for those with the option to go to its observation area. Avoid the long queues by arriving as early as possible either in the morning and enjoy the scenic views from the top. You must not go home without taking exciting photos.

Notre-Dame Cathedral

Next, visit Notre-Dame Cathedral, a masterpiece of Gothic architecture. So it is better to take a guided tour to understand the historical background and the importance of this cathedral. Be marvelled by beautiful stained glass windows and go down to the crypt beneath the church.

Louvre Museum

In as much as one may be visiting other parts of Paris, it is impossible to avoid visiting the Louvre Museum. Oh yes, do not forget to go to the Arc de Triompet which is located at the western part of the avenue.

Versailles Palace

On your next embark upon a journey a short drive outside the city of Paris to tour the magnificent Palace of Versailles. Nearby are splendid palaces, beautiful gardens and marvellous fountains. Visit the Palace of Versailles and find out about the French kings and queens through the history of the Hall of Mirrors and the actual location of the signing of the Treaty of Versailles.

Musée d’Orsay

Finally, after two days of sightseeing, visit the Musée d’Orsay, and enjoy the exquisite pieces of art in the former railway station. Marvel at such Impressionist and Post-Impressionist pieces as fine art works of Monet, Renoir, Van Gogh, etc.
