Begin the tour by visiting Buda Castle as it provides a UNESCO World Heritage site for tourists. Like virtually all the castles depicted in the movie, this building is situated on the hill of that name and it has stunning outlook over the whole city. Learn some of Hungarian history by visiting interior of their buildings, tour through the Hungarian National Gallery and take a relaxed walk in the castle gardens.

2. Fisherman’s Bastion

Continued to Fisherman’s Bastion, a wonderful castle like building to watch the marvelous view of Budapest. Let me introduce seven towers and extraordinary detailing that is found in the project. To sum up, do not neglect to pose with the beautiful background of the city.

3. Matthias Church

Next, proceed to Matthias Church, one of the most recognised Romanesque/Gothic church in the country established in 14th century. Don’t fail to visit its inside to admire the interior decorated with magnificent frescoes. If time allows, wander around the area and admire shop’s windows and rather picturesque views of the brickwork roads.

Terminate the first day of your adventure in Budapest by hiking up the Gellért Hill which has splendid pathways and beautiful vantage points. Finally go upstairs to the Citadel to catch the most stunning view of Budapest. This is the best place to get an elaborate view of the city’s beautifying features.

Next, head to St. Stephen’s Basilica, the largest church in Budapest. Go in to take a look at the marvelous interior and go up to the observation deck to get a bird’s eye view of the city. Watch a music show or find a quiet spot and rest in this religious space.

3. Chain Bridge

Walk over the crowning Chain Bridge, being the first competent bridge that united Buda and Pest Cities. One of the leisure activities you can engage in when in the location is going for a walk along the riverside or going for biking along the Danube River. The gloom of the evening should be captured in order to depict the beauty of the bridge when it is beautifully illuminated during the night.
