Planning a trip to Dublin? Although its fairly easy to navigate with many places of interest in terms of culture, past, and new modern areas, the travelers should try to avoid some parts of the city, to some extent dangerous to new comers. In this article, a novice will find some recommendations on what areas of Dublin one should avoid as a complete newbie. This way one is well prepared and equipped for a safe and more enjoyable experience in this fascinating city.

1. The Liberties

The Liberties which is located on the south-west of the city has in the recent past experienced lavishness developments. Nevertheless, it is still a neighborhood that experiences higher crime rates than the other areas within the region. They should not go out at night and it is advisable that students do not carry round items like bags at night. Nevertheless, Dublin is one of the best cities to travel to, but it is important for first-time travelers to learn about some areas that can be regarded as dangerous. Thus, learning about the possible dangers and adopting the required measures, one can make the trip as useful and safe as possible. Try to avoid walking alone especially in unfamiliar areas, use the local resources to find out the current condition or status of different neighborhoods.
