Warsaw Modlin Airport

Warsaw Modlin Airport is an alternative airport situated about 40km (25 miles) north of the city centre. It is mainly used by low-budget carriers and offers fewer flight connections than Warsaw Chopin Airport. If you are traveling to a Low Cost Carrier then you might arrive at this airport.

Distance from Warsaw Chopin Airport to the City Centre

As mentioned, Warsaw Chopin Airport is situated around 6.5 miles (approx. 10 kilometers) southwest from city center. The airport to the city centre is accessible by different manners:

Taxi

Taking a taxi is the most convenient, as well as the most expensive, of the three options. Taxis can be found outside airport, and the trip to the city center takes 20-30 minutes depending on traffic. The cost of the taxi on average is 40-60 PLN (Polish Zloty).

Distance from Warsaw Modlin Airport to the City Centre

If you come to Warsaw Modlin Airport, situated about 40 kilometers (25 miles) north of the city centre, transportation options are also available to take you into the downtown Warsaw:

ModlinBus

ModlinBus is a committed service that operates from Warsaw Modlin Airport to city center. The ride is approximately 40 to 50 minutes in duration, subject to traffic. The ticket costs start at 9 PLN and can be booked in advance via internet or purchased directly at the airport.

Taxi

Taxis are readily available outside of the airport terminal and it takes 50-60 minutes to the city centre. Price of taxi trip differs but generally it is between 100 to 150 PLN.
