What To Expect
If you would like to learn about the origin of Tarragona, from its Roman roots to the modern contemporary town it is today, then this is your tour! the journey begins on the Rambla Nova, a stroll that will take us through the city, where we will pass by the city’s famous Castellers monument, the Centennial Fountain, and the Despullats statue (the nudes).
We’ll explore the Market Square and various modernist structures then move on. From here we’ll stroll through the Roman Colonial Forum, so you can learn about the ancient Romans. Crossing through the Chartreuse factory, you will learn where the renowned Mamadeta, a traditional drink of the Santa Tecla Festival, comes from.
The ancient Bullring, known as the Tabacalera, will also be included in our modern tour. We will conclude the tour in the enchanting fishing district of El Serrallo, where you can relish the delectable fishing food of the district after the tour.
