Prague, the capital of the Czech Republic, is a thrilling metropolis and a city of incredible architecture, history and culture. There’s so much to see and do and it’s easy to get on the bed to plan it. Below we will outline the must see in Prague in order for you to make the most of your three day trip.

Day 1: Exploring the Old Town

The Old Town of Prague is a UNESCO World Heritage and perfect place to begin your trip. Start your day beside the famous Astronomical Clock in the Old Town Square. Every hour the clock performs a display of moving figurines and chime to a big crowd.

From then, leisurely stroll along the Charles Bridge. The historic bridge has stunning views of the Vltava River and boasts statuary of considerable grandeur. Do visit the place early in the morning or late evening to avoid the crowd.

Next, head to the Prague Castle Complex. This huge complex contains famous St. Vitus Cathedral and a number of other palaces, museums and gardens. You will be glued on it for hours to explore its grandness.

If you are a music fan don’t miss any performance at the Prague National Theater. This magnificent Neo-Renaissance theatre hosts opera, ballet and drama in all its grandeur.
