1. Brandenburg Gate
Kick of your Berlin discovery at the world-famous Brandenburg Gate. This is a neoclassical monument and a German symbol for unity and one of the must-visit landmarks. Wander through the gate and be impressed by its scale. Don’t forget to take some quality inaugural photos!
2. Berlin Wall Memorial
The Berlin Wall Memorial is a somber reminder of the city’s tumultuous history. Come to this site to find out how important the wall was/history is and life for the people from ‘divided Berlin. Visit the exhibit and traverse the protected segment of the wall.
3. Museum Island
Museum Island is a UNESCO World Heritage site and the ultimate piece of history heaven. There are several world-class museums in the area, the Pergamon Museum, the Neues Museum and the Bode Museum. Organize your trip to discover historic artifacts, wonderful art galleries and excited historical exhibitions.
4. East Side Gallery
The East Side Gallery is an outdoor gallery based on a section of the Berlin Wall. It is displaying remarkable murals painted by painters from anywhere just representing hope, freedom and unity. Stroll leisurely along the gallery and admire at the display of imagination.
5. Reichstag Building
The Reichstag Building is the parliament building of Germany and an architectural wonder. Admire unobstructed views of the city from its glass roof. Reserve your visit in advance, especially to reserve a spot. Later on, you can get a snack to eat at one of the nearby hip eateries.
6. Checkpoint Charlie
By far the most famous border crossing station between East and West Berlin during the Cold War is Checkpoint Charlie. Visit the checkpoint to find out about the history of Berlin divided and about stories of people trying to cross this checkpoint. More insights can be gained from the nearby museum.
7. Tiergarten
Get away from city noise by taking a trip and visit central park of Berlin set; namely Tiergarten. Enjoy a picnic, have rental OMXthombe, or take a leisurely walk with its beautiful green. Don’t miss the Victory Column located within the park, for views over Berlin.
8. Currywurst
No unquestioning to Berlin would be left untouched if merely would furnish the bed with verifiable photography into have street foods. Do not miss trying the city of the famous food, currywurst. 9. Berliner Dom
The Berliner Dom, or Berlin Cathedral, is a remarkable building to see. Visit the breathtaking interior, climb up to the dome for a view; and visit the crypt to see the royal tombs. Go to a rock or choir performance to hear the place’s good acoustics.
10. Shopping in Kurfürstendamm
Finish off your Berlin trip with some shopping on Kurfürstendamm, one of Berlin’s best shopping malls. Shop at upscale retailers, divisions and designer flagships. Take a brake and relax at a quaint café, observe the world passing you by.
