6. Rouen

Rouen’s most remarkable feature is its grand Gothic cathedral, one which attracted Monet’s artistic interest. 7. Reims

For those who love wine as well as history, a visit of Reims located in the Champagne region is an absolute necessity. Champagne producers are easily seen everywhere in the city and the city’s majestic cathedral which is in Gothic architecture was the site for French king coronation.
