Looking for Hidden Gems in Berlin?

If you want to visit Berlin but are sick and tired of visiting places that every tourist goes there to see than you have the luck. Berlin is full of hidden treasures that are away from the beaten track but with an unusual experience. Today we will discover some of Berlin and its hidden galleries, activities and sites, to tell your visit the one that when you leave here you wont forget.

1. Mauerpark

Though Mauerpark may not have the same international fame as other parks in Berlin, it has become a favorite among locals. Located in the old death strip of the Berlin Wall, Mauerpark has turned into a beautiful park with Sunday flea market and live musical performances. Don’t miss the Bearpit Karaoke where anyone can come and have the chance to singing their heart out in an outdoor podium.

2. Teufelsberg

If you’re in the mood for adventure go on Teufelsberg. This man made hill in the Grunewald forest was built from the war rubble of World War II. Today it is an abandoned listening station that has a breathtaking view of the city. Take a guided tour and discover its history and discover the ruins covered in graffiti.

3. Yaam

To experience the city’s lively music and arts scene head to Yaam. 4. Klunkerkranich

If you seek for a different rooftop experience go to Klunkerkranich. 10. Markthalle Neun

No foodies should give Markthalle Neun, a historic market hall in Kreuzberg, a miss. This thriving market is hot spot of food events, such as the Street Food Thursday, and the popular Breakfast Market. Try your way through loads of food snacks of the Berlin street food culture trading stalls.
