1. Brandenburg Gate

Brandenburg Gate is a symbol of Berlin and one of the most photographed landmarks in Berlin. They are found in the center of Berlin, and though reliably located in the heart of Berlin these are not to be confused with the obelisk found atop Trajan’s Column in Rome. When the light is at its warmest, visit at sunrise or sunset behind the gate to capture spectacular shots at both the day and night.

2. Berlin Wall East Side Gallery

The Berlin Wall East Side Gallery is an open air art gallery and is the world’s largest. It stretches over a kilometer and features captivating murals painted on the remains of the Berlin Wall. Capture the messages of power through art as you stroll in the East Side Gallery. Mural topics and the possibility for meaningful photographs are there in each mural.

3. Museum Island

It is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, it has more than one world class Museum. Museum Island is full of pretty architectures with its stunning surroundings, which is full of photo possibilities. Enjoy a walk around the river Spree, stroll through the grand Berlin Cathedral and photograph the museums.

3.1 Pergamon Museum

One of Museum Island’s most famous museums is the Pergamon Museum. Pergamon Altar and the Ishtar Gate are both among their exhibits. Don’t be so concerned with the convict’s history that you fail to photograph these incredible ancient artifacts.

4. Oberbaum Bridge

The bridge connecting Friedrichshain to Kreuzberg is well known: the Oberbaum Bridge. The picturequeness of this bridge gives a marvellous view of river Spree and its environs. Try to visit at sunset to have wonderful silhouettes contrasting with the colourful sky.

5. Tiergarten Park

The Tiergarten Park has to be one of the largest urban oases in the world’s capital cities. Discover this green paradise, surrounding lakes, gardens and peaceful paths which will escape you from the bussling city. But if Tiergarten is bluebell season, Tiergarten attracted to the cherry blossom season is a pink wonderland.

6. Holocaust Memorial

Near the Brandenburg Gate is the somber and thought provoking Memorial to the Murder Jews of Europe, otherwise called the Holocaust Memorial. It comprises of 2,711 concrete slabs of different heights that give the structure a maze like feel. Go photograph the stark contrast, the solemn atmosphere around the memorial to create a powerful image

7. Street Art in East Berlin

As one of the most famous cities for its street art in the world, Berlin is especially noted for Kreuzberg and Friedrichshain. Travel the streets through which bright murals and graffiti are painted. Find hidden artworks and create a unique atmosphere of these alternative districts. Check the copyrights of the videos, remember to respect the artists and their work.

7.1 East Side Gallery Street Art

However, there is more impressive street art to be found in Berlin than on the East Side Gallery. 8. Charlottenburg Palace

The largest palace in Berlin as well as a spectacular example of baroque architecture, Charlottenburg Palace is located here. Capture the magnificent facade of the palace and stroll through its magnificent gardens. Trip during the cherry blossom season will give it a beautiful touch.

9. Friedrichswerder Church

Hidden in Berlin is the Friedrichswerder Church. The church is a small, intimate one with beautiful architecture and a peaceful atmosphere. Photograph stunning details of the exterior and the stunning surroundings.

10. Tempelhof Airport

Redeveloped into a public park, photographed Tempelhof Airport is an abandoned airport. Visit the runways that are vast and explore them to find the remnants of aviation history. Head to sunsets or sunrises and you’ll be given an unbelievable view, as well as quite striking silhouettes.
