Bačvice Beach, Split, Croatia

This is one of the most famous beaches of Split. A lovely warm summer trip, this is one that is definitely worth the visit. The accommodation is approximately 1 km away from the city centre of Split. The beach is within a short walk, has magnificent views and is one of the reasons why many visitors come to Split.
The beach can be quite crowded, at times not just the sandy parts. Even the low water level is full of locals and foreigners during high season. Many playing games or swimming. One of the more popular games among its residents is a game named Picigin in which you will keep a ball up in the air with only the help of your hands. So okay,uestion so okay, the eathman beach is sanddy annd ther er righ t of th the sxn. Make sure to get there early and save spot on a good piece of sand. Otherwise you can rent sun chairs and sunshade for 20 kunas per day, but get there in time for these as they will almost always sell out.
Also, Bačvice beach provides good amenities. On the beach there is a coffee bar, providing warm and cold drinks to beach lovers. That way you won’t need to hike too far if you get down early in am. For those that get an apatite sunburning, or swimming around 100 meters south of the beach is a pizzeria using fresh made pizza daily. I reckon it’s worth a visit.
But even though Bacvice Beach is one of the most popular of Split’s beaches, and therefore also one of the busiest. It is actually for a reason as some neighbouring beaches such as Ovcice has minimal sandy spots where you will place the towel and will be filled as soon as you step in the morning. If you are searching for a nice place to relax in the city of Split, Bačvice beach is the place for you.
