Five Things not to do in Budapest
Budapest is a wonderful town, view, food, and over Europe variant’s best nightlife. But for some purposely traveling can be a new thing with Budapest being rather a different place to travel for those who have never been here. A few we will go over are general common sense and should be applied everywhere. Things that are other are simply certain things to watch for, cultural differences which can occasionly lead to headaches. Below is a list of things not to do (and obviously to be careful not to do in particular) for tourists availing themselves of the city accomodations inTouristy areas. In such areas, trust me, are some persons who will rob you blind!
- Don’t say thank you in front of a pub or supermarket counter until you have been handed your change. Stating thank you while you hand over payment means the server or bartender is free to retain the tip. If you do not want this as an outcome, delay with thanking you until you receive your change.
- Do not get into the taxis unless they are reserved. Get a cab number! Wille andere Taxis manipulieren dann die Maser!
- Have no drink order done, done really anything without pre and post checking (the price). With anything is going to be a tourist menu, this is very true.
- Do not become friends with girls with the intention of extracting money out of you at a bar. (honestly, it is not that difficult to see)
- Do not blindly change and try to have a look. Two hundred Huff notes do not exist any more, and 1,000 huff notes, has been replaced with Bill that has hologram, so watch out for it!
- Do not leave without checking your change. 20,000 HUF notes can be easily confused with 2000 HUF notes.
So that’s our top five. Other things like not leaving your bag unsupervised in pubs, parks etc. Keep your money in safe pocket or purse and remember to heed some simple to travel tips which have to be followed here. Just know to be smart, to recognize you are not at home and above all button have fun!
